ABOUT
The three unlikely friends Mouse, Crane & Electryna all live in the harbor. Every day they are searching and collecting tools for their toolbox. The tools enable them to repair and build machines and equipment needed to fix the space equipment that will take Mouse back home to outer space.
MOUSE
MOUSE IS A 4 YEAR OLD BRAVE AND PASSIONATE LITTLE GUY. HE IS THE YOUNGEST AND THE ONE WHO LEARNS MOST IN EACH EPISODE. ONE DAY HE FALLS FROM THE SKY IN HIS BROKEN SPACE CAPE AND WITH THE HELP OF HIS NEW FRIENDS CRANE & ELECTRYNA, HE LEARNS TO BUILD SPACE VEHICLES AND HOW TO DEAL WITH HIS NATURAL IMPATIENCE.
CRANE
CRANE IS ABOUT 8 YEARS OLD AND ATTENDING CRANE SCHOOL. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE BIGGER AND STRONGER THAN MOUSE & ELECTRYNA, THEY ARE NOT YET FULLY AWARE OF THEIR GROWING STRENGTH - ONLY THAT IT CAUSES GROWING PAINS. AND WHAT THEY DON'T REALIZE AT ALL, IS THAT THEIR GREATEST STRENGTH IS THEIR IMAGINATION. SUCH AS INVENTING A SCRAP FRIEND TO THE LONELY, GRUMPY SCRAPMAN.
ELECTRYNA
ELECTRYNA IS AROUND 6 YEARS HALF PIG, HALF MECHANICS. SHE IS OPTIMISTIC AND CONTRIBUTES TO THE GROUP WITH HER POWER-GIVING SKILLS AND THEREBY A MAJOR ASSET TO THE HARBOR. BUT NO MATTER HOW COOL SHE IS, SHE OFTEN FALLS ASLEEP ON HER SOLAR POWERED SUNBED CHARGER.
SCRAPMAN
SCRAPMAN A BIG MACHINEMAN WHO REALLY NEEDS SOME CARE, BUT WHO NO ONE HAS DARED TO CHALLENGE BEFORE MOUSE GETS ON THE FIELD AND CRANE REALIZES THAT SCRAPMAN MIGHT BE ANGRY BECAUSE HE IS LONELY. MOUSE & CRANE SOLVES THEIR CHALLENGES CREATIVELY AS ALWAYS AND BUILDS A SCRAP FRIEND TO SCRAPMAN AND THEN EVERYTHING IS FINE.
SCRAP CRABS
THE SCRAP CRABS ARE SOME WILD HUNGRY TYPES THAT GNAW AT EVERYTHING MADE OUT OF METAL THEY COME CLOSE TO. BUT IF YOU GIVE THEM AN INSTRUMENT THEY PLAY WONDERFUL MUSIC INSTEAD.
BOBCAT KITTENS
BOBCAT KITTENS ARE LIKE LITTLE WILD KIDS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND RULES. LOVELY, IMPULSIVE AND QUITE FRUSTRATING WHEN THEY’RE ROAMING AROUND AND THEIR MAMA CAN'T CONTROL THEM.
SLUSH ICE DRAGON
SLUSH ICE DRAGON BENZI IS A DRAGON GIRL OF AGE WITH CRANE. AFTER SCHOOL, BENZI FLIES AROUND THE HARBOR, FILLING SHIPS, TRUCKS AND MACHINES WITH GASOLINE. BUT BENZI GETS HEARTBURN FROM THE GASOLINE, SO MOUSE & CRANE FILLS SLUSH ICE ON HER INSTEAD.
WIND ANGELS
THE WIND ANGELS PROVIDE ENERGY - AND IN THEIR FULLY CHARGED STATE THEY TEND TO BECOME A LITTLE WILD AND DETACH THEMSELVES COMPLETELY FROM THEIR FOUNDATION AND FLY TO HEAVEN.
PLASTIC ZOMBIES & SEA GHOSTS
CRANE LIKES TO SING, BUT MOUSE THINKS HER SINGING IS AWFUL. WHEN A SONG BATTLE BREAKS OUT ON THE WATER BETWEEN THE SEA GHOSTS' BEAUTIFUL HYMNS AND THE PLASTIC ZOMBIES MARCH-RAP SONGS, MOUSE AND CRANE END UP ON OPPOSING SIDES. IN THE END THEY FIND A WAY TO HARMONIZE ALL THEIR VOICES IN A BEAUTIFUL CHORUS - EVEN CRANE.
SWITCH GAME
COMING SOON! Mouse & Crane for Switch is a singleplayer or co-play puzzle-based adventure game adapted for young audiences (aged 4-7) offering creative problem-solving and teachable moments through upcycling, recycling, and construction with cute characters through a hand-drawn collage aesthetic.
MOBILE GAME
COMING SOON! Mouse & Crane for mobile will be released after the Switch game. This is a single player game which is rich in storytelling and completely designed with young children in mind, with simple gameplay and constructive activities.

TOOLBOX APP
The learning app Mouse’s Toolbox is built on the same basic concept of constructing and creating, but where the children must also involve their surroundings, e.g. finding colors, shapes and sounds in reality and taking them into the game to learn about them.

TV SERIES
In the TV Series you can lean back and enjoy the adventure of Mouse, Crane & Electryna. You will get to know the characters more profoundly as they recycle and create new things to the benefit of the harbor and each other. These creative and fabulous stories unfold as 26 episodes of 7 minutes.
STUDIOS
It takes great people to make great games. And for the production of Mouse & Crane, we had not one but two great teams working together to create a unique game! The two studios behind Mouse & Crane are located in Denmark and Canada.
THOSE EYES
Danish studio Those Eyes develops award-winning video games, art, film and animation in all kinds of formats. The company was established in 1999 and operates with sincerity, play and humor -always with the aim to entertain and break new grounds for storytelling. We do game jams all the time - It doesn’t even have to be a game that comes out of it :) We also talk and write about games internationally and locally.
TOBO
Since 2012, Canadian studio Tobo creates original, inspiring and engaging multiplatform experiences for children aged 3 to 15. Tobo produces original games, books, series and films that take on themes that are as current as they are unexplored. Projects come in a variety of formats - linear and interactive - and aim to engage today's kids and their parents.
